Crossvale? Integrate, Automate, Deliver

Crossvale, Inc. has made an in-kind donation to the Dallas Public Library for gently-used office furniture and equipment.  After consolidating and relocating company headquarters to Irving in early 2011, Crossvale had a surplus of networking equipment, routers, cables, split-level training tables, white boards, projectors and a projector screen. 

Instead of informally donating these items to any organization, Crossvale sought out an institution that could directly benefit and make use of the furniture and equipment.  Moreover, Crossvale wanted the items to go to a good cause in the community.  Knowing many municipalities rely on monetary and material donations by corporations and private donors, the Dallas Public Library was approached.  The Dallas Public Library was elated to receive such donated items and there are plans to put the office furniture and equipment to use right away.      

Crossvale President Jason Sharp commented, “As part of our social responsibility, donating these items to the Dallas Public Library was a way to pay it forward to both children and adults in our community.”  Furthermore, “it enhances the library’s services and promotes literacy efforts with updated equipment and technology,” added Mr. Sharp. 

Consider recycling or donating gently used furniture and office equipment to a charitable non-profit or organization of choice.  Repurposing or donating not only helps to keep our environment clean, it improves nonprofit services and boosts the community for the greater good.  Recycling damaged or unusable furniture or equipment can reduce energy usage and environmental pollutants.
