Prajith is one of Crossvale’s superstar developers. He’s a born problem-solver and is great at seeing “the big picture” as he works with a client’s application that involves thinking a lot about the customer’s needs. So, when you’re not cranking out code and making things work, what do you like to do in your spare time? I’d like to travel whenever I get a chance. Camping and hiking are some activities I enjoy as well. I also like to cook an occasional meal for my wife.Ah, you like the outdoors! Out of curiosity, where are your favorite places to go camping and hiking?Glacier National Park in Montana is the best one I’ve hiked in. I do visit a lot of the spots closer to Dallas. The Ozarks, Paulo Duro Canyon and Oucahita are some of them. Traveling a lot to Birmingham also gave me a chance to explore some of the Trails around Georgia as well. And you mentioned you cook. So, it’s the question that I ask everyone: What’s your favorite food?I love Mexican street tacos. Especially the Al Pastor tacos, one of the foods that I got introduced to, after I moved to the U.S.**PLEASE NOTE: THE FACT THAT MOST CROSSVALERS LIKE TACOS DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL BE ASKED “DO YOU LIKE TACOS?” WHEN YOU INTERVIEW HERE (BUT IF YOU START WORKING HERE, YOU MAY BE ASKED “FANCY TACOS FOR LUNCH?” ON OCCASION.)We know your job title is Associate Developer – but what do you work on?I’m currently working as a Technical Lead for an internal application that a national bank has that the bankers use to originate accounts/credit cards and pretty much every kind of banking product you can imagine. Cool. And what do you like most about working at Crossvale?I would say flexibility is the first thing that comes to my mind. Ever since the day I started at Crossvale, I’ve always had the freedom to change roles/projects and it definitely helps to have the upper management right in front of you.OK, Prajith, I think you are known as a Crossvaler that’s pretty good on the foosball table. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your foosball skills?I would say a 7 now. I used to be a 9 when I was working from the HQ. Too bad the client location doesn’t have a foosball table to practice. ** PLEASE NOTE: WE BELIEVE PRAJITH IS STILL A 9 – he’s really good!
